How do I schedule my first appointment?

To make your appointment call our office @713-206-8424 during our regular office hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Angelina H. Rodriguez will contact you within 24 hours to consult with you and confirm your appointment time.
Each session is scheduled to begin and end at its appointed time. If you are late, please understand that your session will be shortened and end at the scheduled time. When you arrive, you will be handed a new client form to be completed before your first session begins. During your first session, you will be asked to provide a great deal of background information about yourself, describe your patterns and issues, discuss what if anything has worked for you in the past, and your current situation in detail. You will be asked to state your reasons for therapy and what you hope to get out of it.
At the conclusion of our first session, I will speak with you about my recommendations for your future. The first step towards change is the initial visit. It is in that moment that I can motivate you into a healthier and more rewarding life style. It is crucial that you and I are fully aligned in our partnership.
This process creates trust and honesty as we progress towards your goals. You will be expected to participate and try new forms of communication, right there, at the first session.
Psychotherapy by Angelina, LLC has a “pay as you go” policy.
- First session is paid in advance over the phone before appointment time and to secure your session time.
- Cancelled appointments must be made 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid charges.
- Appointments scheduled for same day will not be issued refunds if cancelled.
- Credit card and exact cash are accepted at office only after first visit.
- A Credit card authorization form must be completed at our office to insure fiduciary responsibility for future unpaid and cancelled scheduled appointments less than 24 hours
We respect your time and reserve all your appointments in advance. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact us 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. It is common for mental health professionals to charge clients for missed or cancelled appointments not made with 24 hour notice. We reserve this hour only for you and with short notice, we can not fill your time with another client. To ensure your cancellation, please use our twenty-four hour call service at 713-206-8429. Appointments scheduled for same day will not be issued any refunds if cancelled.
All clients are directly billed for services. We do not accept any forms of insurance and this totally protects your privacy. If you request reimbursement from your insurance company, we will gladly provide you the documentation and receipts. We strongly recommend contacting your insurance carrier in advance to ask about your “out of network” reimbursement benefits.
